As Lumivara Studios UK is relatively new we don't have much films that we have done. We're still only debuting our first film.
Debut film - Jessica
Jessica is our first debut film. Written and directed by Riley Harder. This film will definitely make you think twice about being on the beach and the seaside.
What is Jessica about?
Jessica is a teenager who would rather be connected to her phone than enjoy a family day at the beach. When a trip with her parents, younger brother Thomas and nan begins, she slowly discovers the importance of being present and spending time with the people around her.
However, as the weather starts to change, a peaceful day by the sea quickly becomes dangerous. With a storm approaching sooner than expected, the beach is evacuated — but Jessica has wandered away searching for phone signal and becomes separated from her family.
As the conditions worsen and the sea becomes increasingly unpredictable, Jessica must find her way back while her family desperately searches for her.
Jessica is a powerful story about the importance of staying aware, listening to safety advice, and understanding how quickly the sea and weather can change.
